Bright and Shiny Syndrome

{ Just Keep Swimming }

I finally did it...I started my blog!   It took two years for me to get up the nerve.  There's no going back now. 

"Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming..."

I've thought many times about what my first post would be about. But you see I have "Bright and Shiny Syndrome" and that makes it hard for me to nail down a decision because I get distracted...EASILY.

Case in point...I stumbled across a blog two years ago, Made with Love...and Glue by Rachel Berry.   Right away I fell in love with this blog.  I loved her writing style, her photography, her sense of humor and the way she keeps it real. Not to mention her mad crafting skills!  I've been following her ever since.

But my journey to blogdom started with this post of Rachel's,       http://eoberrys.blogspot.com/2009/01/cheeky-monkey.html   emailed Rachel with questions about this sweet little creation and how to get my hands on one for my little monkey at home.  She promptly replied to my email, explained about the monkey and asked if I had a blog. 

Fast forward...

I'm blog stalking over at http://www.graceisoverrated.com/ last week.  She was the push I needed to go for it.

 

So to Rachel, my first blog post is dedicated to you and I honor you by using Curly brackets on all my post titles!  Thank you for feeding me inspiration.  

Also to Christie, thanks for adding a side of courage.
